Club Meeting Key Takeaways

We greatly appreciate all of you who have come out to help setup and tear down in the past few months. Your support has been wonderful and we could not do it without all of you!

If you chose to run or accept a nomination, please be aware that a strong commitment is required of all officers. Field Captains have a large responsibility and our club cannot run without them! For our club to thrive, our officers must be committed.

In February, fees to shoot at our monthly shoots will increase to $10 for non-members

Due to a lack of volunteers, the 2012 shooting schedule has been decreased. To see the currently scheduled shoots see our upcoming events page.

We will absolutely need Volunteers for the 2012 shoots. Please respond to either Bob Ford or Mathew McMillan if you would like to sign up to work or run a monthly shoot for the 2012 year. If necessary, we will eliminate scheduled shoots.

Our club sponsored 4 children from a local Angel Tree this year and we will be making a donation to the Post Chaplain to help with the holidays

Hello HMABC Members!

The Club officers met last night to discuss business and important Range info. Unfortunately, we have not received a definite OKAY from the post officials to open our range and conduct the 3D shoot this month. Therefore, we regret that our July shoot has been cancelled.

However, we will be meeting at 0730 on Saturday for a Range work day to clear brush and grass from the ranges and around the buildings and to repair targets. Range Control has issued the All Clear for this activity. We are asking that any and all available members please come out to help, and of course families are welcome to come and work as well. Even if you can only donate an hour of your day or bring an extra weed eater to be used, it helps! Our club is based on volunteerism and we need our members!

We are currently seeking out any volunteers that would be willing to help in the setup of the 2011 Buck Lewis shoot that is being held in Sonoita, AZ. If your intrested in helping us out please contact Bob Ford (President) or Mathew McMillan (Vice President) and we can fill you in on what is needed.

We have updated the site to include the 2011 Triple Crown Schedule. We have also posted the newsletter and the flyer for the 2011 Buck Lewis Shoot that is to be held in Sonita, AZ on March 19 and 20th.

If you are a member or wanting to join the many members of the Huachuca Mountain Archers and Bowhunters Club then please read and adhere to our clubs' By-Laws. They were designed for your saftey as well as ours.

If you would like to become a member of the Huachuca Mountain Archers and Bowhunters Club, then download our membership application and either mail it in or give to any of our Field Officers with your club dues. If you mail in your application expect your membership card within 2 weeks.
